PURPOSE: A method for utilizing a reserve fund on an Internet commercial transaction is provided to supply a free gift corresponded to the total reserve funds of all members to a prizewinner and to donate a donation or a gift to a public corporation in the name of the all members by performing a lottery to members obtaining a predetermined reserve fund. CONSTITUTION: Users connecting to an operator server through the Internet register as members(202). If the member purchases a commodity in case of an electronic commercial transaction service or participates in an auction in case of an auction service(204), a predetermined reserve fund may be supplied to the member(206). An operator performs a lottery to members obtaining a predetermined reserve fund at a specific date(208,210). A free gift corresponded to the total reserve fund of all members is supplied to a prizewinner(212). The operator creates an additional donation and donates the donation to a public corporation in the name of the all members(214). After the lottery, the reserve fund is re-adjusted at a low price(216).
