PURPOSE: An alarm cover for outdoor unit of air conditioner is provided to achieve an in-advance prevention against breakdown of outdoor unit caused when the outdoor unit operates without removing the outdoor unit cover. CONSTITUTION: An alarm cover comprises a cover(10) covering an outdoor unit of air conditioner so as to protect the outdoor unit during non-use period; and an alarm(20) arranged at the position corresponding to a grill of the outdoor unit, and which generates alarm sound by the air stream discharged through the grill of the outdoor unit. The alarm includes a mount plate for mounting the alarm to the cover; an alarm body formed integrally with the mounting plate so as to allow for passage of air stream; and a sound generating plate installed inside of the alarm body, and which generates sound by the air stream passing through the alarm body. Alternatively, the alarm includes a sensor for sensing the air stream acting on the cover; and a display operating by the signal output from the sensor.
