PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound sanitary napkin possessing a first absorbing material which absorbs and retains most of oozed liquid and a second absorbing material which prevents underwear from stain. SOLUTION: This compound sanitary napkin has the first and the second absorbing materials and they have respectively lengths and widths. The first one has an absorbing centre and a liquid permeable top sheet provided thereon. The second one has a liquid permeable top sheet, a liquid impermeability barrier sheet and an absorbing element between the top sheet and the barrier sheet. The first material has a shape of its centre part which is narrower than at least one lateral part.
