PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a defect that though a lumbered product is pinched by a pipe from up and down in a conventional dryer for the lumbered product, a side face of the lumbered product is cracked while a defect that a pipe trace becomes black since the lumbered product is pinched by a metallic pipe is solved. SOLUTION: In an apparatus for drying the lumbered product, a plurality of pressing ruler tables formed by across hanging many presser bars between two crosspiece frames provided oppositely, are vertically superimposed, and up and down pressing ruler tables are, in a freely detachable manner, connected to each other. A means for pinching the lumbered product from its both side faces is provided. Further, a pressing ruler table-hanging means is provided to the uppermost part of the pressing ruler table, and a presser ruler table- raising means is provided to the lowermost part. Further, the pressing bar is coated by a discoloration preventive member.
