PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair with a footrest in which the footrest is fixed at plural positions of footrest frame securely and also can slide easily and safely. SOLUTION: In a chair which is attached a footrest frame 12 in front of a seat 2, the footrest 30 which can slide back and forth easily and get fixed at plural positions in front and rear is attached at the footrest frame 12 written above, and on this footstool 30, an operation lever 71 which connects footrest frame 12 and the footrest 30 at upper point and release the connection at lower point is fixed. The operation lever can both release the connection of the footrest and the footrest frame and change the footrest position more user-friendly.
