PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking assist capable of folding in spite of its simple construction, and further maintaining the strength of a handle rod with-out a reinforce rod extending between left and right handle rods. SOLUTION: This walking assist is characterized by (1) providing supporting rods mounted with the handle rods on the upper parts thereof, (2) providing a pair of sliding members which slide on the supporting rods, (3) mounting a pair of left and right front leg rods having wheels at the lower ends thereof and a pair of left and right rear leg rods having wheels at the lower ends thereof to the sliding members so as to open and close freely, (4) allowing the walking assist be locked in the using state by regulating sliding of the sliding members, (5) inserting reinforce rods into the supporting rods, and (6) providing a seating part mounted rotatably to the rear leg rods and adapted to be located at using position and contracted position in the forward and backward direction. |
