WIRE BASKET SPOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire basket spool capable of preventing deformation of an axial hole part when impact is received, even in the spool made of a metal or alloy wire rod. SOLUTION: A flange 1 made of a metal or alloy wire rod has a ring-shaped outer peripheral rim 2 and a ring-shaped inner peripheral rim 3 provided coaxially with the outer peripheral rim 2. The outer peripheral rim 2 and the inner peripheral rim 3 are radially connected by a plurality of ribs 4. Each of the outer peripheral rim 2, the inner peripheral rim 3 and the ribs 4 is mutually fixed. A pair of flanges 1 are connected by a connecting member 5 made of four metal or alloy wire rods in an opposed state. A body strut member 6 made of the metal or the alloy wire rods is fixed to the opposed ribs 4 so as to lay the flanges 1 each other. The ribs 4 are provided with impact absorbing parts for absorbing force acting on the ribs 4. In the ribs 4, elastic parts 10 for locally bending the ribs 4 at two portions are formed as the impact absorbing parts.
