PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of preventing the reverse of the paper sheets after cutting it. SOLUTION: Paper sheets holding parts 28 and 32 for holding the rolled paper guided in a paper sheets guide passage 25 without hindering the movement of the rolled paper in the paper discharge direction are provided in the paper sheets guide passage 25 in the downstream of a cutter mechanism 24 in the rolled paper guide direction. The rolled paper sheets cut by the cutter mechanism 24 is held by the paper sheets holding parts 28 and 32 without hindering the movement of the rolled paper in the downstream of the cutter mechanism 24 in the rolled paper guide direction.
