PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rudder folding structure for a small vessel that improves the convenience of rudder carriage and storage. SOLUTION: A side 2A of a horizontal rudder 2 with an operating member 4 is foldable via a coupling means T2 against a side 2B with no operating member 4. A fixing arm 9 has a base end side 9a turnably coupled to the operating member 4 side, and a tip side 9b fixing from above the side 2B of the horizontal rudder 2 with no operating member 4. The tip side 9b of the fixing arm 9 is released from the fixing from above by turning motion of the base end side 9a.
