PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a biting phenomenon in a hollow lip when a panel is mounted on a weather strip. SOLUTION: In a mounting structure of the panel in a vehicle wherein a sunroof panel 4 is relatively mobile and joined with a frame 3 and the weather strip 5 for sealing the outer peripheral edge part of the sunroof panel 4 is mounted on the frame 3, the hollow lip 53 which is abutted on the outer peripheral end face of the sunroof panel 4 is provided on the inner peripheral side of a mounting leg part 51 in the weather strip 5. The hollow lip 53 is a hollow cross sectional shape which has a plurality of bent parts having a roughly V-shaped cross section capable of being folded while displacing on the mounting leg part 51 side when an external force is applied thereon, and a notch 55 for assisting the folding operation is provided in the bent part.
