<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin composition having a low specific gravity and containing hollow spheres by a melt extruding method. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the thermoplastic resin composition having a melt kneading extruder having a screw comprises the steps of supplying the resin composition having a specific gravity of 1.10 or more from an upstream side supply unit while rotating the screw, and supplying the hollow spheres of 2 to 50 pts.wt. to the resin of 100 pts.wt. from a downstream side supply unit. In this case, the extruder has the upstream side supply unit at an upstream side of an extruding direction, the downstream side supply unit at a downstream side of the upstream side supply unit in such a manner that a ratio (L/D) of a distance (L) between the upstream side supply unit and the downstream side supply unit to a diameter (D) of the screw is 4 to 30 (wherein L and D have the same scale unit).</p> |
