PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical and productive technology which can easily make twill fabrics in continuous length or a pre-preg made of the fabric for large size FRP(fiber reinforced plastics). SOLUTION: This device is to manufacture a pre-preg 39 by a process comprising the steps of supplying skewed fibers S onto the peripheral surface of a mandrel 1 from a braider 2 having feeding part 3 of twill fabrics to fabricate a cylindrical fabric 4, coating a synthetic resin onto the cylindrical fabric 4 to impregnate and form a cylindrical pre-preg 29, and cutting open the cylindrical prepreg 29 along the axial direction of the mandrel 1 to obtain the prepreg 39 of a long-size skewed fiber fabric 5 disposed of plural twill fabrics S, wherein a coating section 19 is provided to make a non-cured or semi-cured synthetic resin layer on the peripheral surface of the mandrel 1, and in the neighborhood of the mandrel 1, and ahead of the braider 2, a semi-curing section 37 is provided to make the synthetic resin layer semi-cured and impregnated into the cylindrical fabric 4. |
