PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recorder having a small number of components and a simple structure. SOLUTION: A plurality of ink jet recording heads 30 for recording an image, and a plurality of ink tanks 50 provided in correspondence with respective recording heads and storing ink being fed to respective recording heads are fixed into a carriage 20 moving relatively to a recording medium 10 and ink is fed to each ink tank from an ink supply means provided on the outside of the carriage. In such an ink jet recorder, an ink tube 70 for introducing ink flowed over respective ink tanks, and an overflow tank 80 for storing the introduced ink are provided in the carriage 20. |
