PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector for a reclining position, which is attached to a reclining device equipped with a deceleration system consisting of an outer gear part and an inner gear part engaging each other. SOLUTION: In the reclining device, a lower arm 10 and an upper arm 15 are connected to make eccentric rotation with an eccentric shaft 20, and an outer gear part 13 and an inner gear part 18 formed in the arms are engaged each other, and when the eccentric shaft rotates against the lower arm, the upper arm is rotated against the lower arm 10 at reduced speed. In a supporting bracket 30 which is fixed to the lower arm, a cam material 31 is supported to be able to rotate easily through a pivot pin 32 which has a center line parallel to a rotative center line 01 of the eccentric shaft 20 and is connected to the lower arm by a connecting part A. In the connecting bracket, a detector 35 which is driven by a cam material side 31b of the cam material is fixed. The center line of the main supporting pin and the rotative center line of the eccentric shaft is preferred to be unanimous.
