PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold releasing polyester film wherein defects such a pinhole and the like derived from a film surface projection are not generated in a green sheet, and generation of defects of the green sheet caused by flaws and a working process can be suppressed. SOLUTION: The mold releasing polyester film is provided wherein a mold- releasing layer is provided on at least one face of a polyester substrate film, the number of projections per unit area on the central face of the mold releasing layer surface roughness is >=2,000 pieces/mm2, three dimensional average surface roughness SRa is 0.010 to 0.030μm, and SRz is <=1.0μm.
