摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce remaining material defect and a grinding amount by setting a required minimum grinding amount based on molding quality precision of blank of a lens in machining an optical glass lens. SOLUTION: Difference in height c at an outer diameter of the lens between the blank of the lens and a machined lens is obtained from radius of curvature (a) for the blank of the lens and radius of curvature b for machined lens to calculate a required grinding amount d. A required grinding amount i is calculated to remove a total amount h of thickness deviation obtained from an amount e of thickness deviation, run out f of a machine in machining process, and a tilting amount g in adhering a jig. Total grinding amounts m, n are obtained by adding a grinding amount k in second and third machining processes to the required grinding amounts d, i so as to determined whether the total grinding amount is not less than a maximum surface detect depth o. When the grinding amount is not enough, an additional grinding amount is added to set a total required minimum grinding amount q.
