PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ionizingly polishable toothbrush which is made easily feasible to polish by bristle points. SOLUTION: The toothbrush comprises a bristle mounting section (51) wherein the bristles are mounted, a handle section (10) which is grasped by a user, a battery (16) which is housed in the handle section, a conductive edge body (13) which is connected to one electrode of the battery and at least a part of which is provided exposedly to a face of the handle section, a conductive member (26) which connects vicinity of the bristle mounting section and another electrode of the battery, a display which is housed in near an end part of the handle section and is actuated by the battery, a blinking means (31) which makes the display flash on and off, a driving means (32) which actuates the blinking means when trace of current flows mutually between the conductive member and the conductive edge body, and a signal varying means (33) which gives variation to applied voltage or to trace of current mutually between the conductive member and the conductive edge body according to blinks of the display.
