PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermal recording material with a good productivity which has excellent strength and heat resistance of a recording display layer and an excellent adhesion to a substrate or a protective layer, as well as a high resolution and contrast of a recorded image. SOLUTION: A coating liquid is applied on a substrate and dried, the coating liquid comprising an organic monomeric substance and a resin emulsion, the organic monomeric substance being dispersed in the resin emulsion which is obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable unsaturated monomer having a hydrolyzable silyl group, a polymerizable unsaturated monomer having a carboxyl group and other polymerizable monomer. |
