PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and surely eliminate the curl of the recording medium without lowering the quality with simple processes and the simple structure. SOLUTION: This device for eliminating the curl of the recording medium is provided with a heating means 24 for heating the photosensitive material web 14 brought in contact with the heating means, a heating condition deciding circuit 72 for previously deciding the heating condition including the heating temperature and the heating time of the photosensitive material web 14 on the basis of the sort of the photosensitive material web 14, a heating temperature control circuit 78 for controlling the temperature of the heating means 24 itself as the heating time, and a heating time control circuit 82 for controlling the time of the contact of the photosensitive material web 14 with the heating means 24 as the heating time.
