PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillating device capable of adding a linear material, for instance, to a long sheet with a smooth oscillating pattern. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a sliding rail 9 disposed along a width direction of a traveling liquid non-transmissible sheet 2, a sliding block 8 provided freely slidably on the sliding rail 9, a freely rotatably disposed disc 13, a crankshaft 12 with one end supported pivotally at the sliding block 8 and the other end supported pivotally at a peripheral edge part of the disc 13 and a servo motor 14 for rotating, driving and controlling the disc 13 at arbitrary speed in a prescribed rotating direction. A rubber yarn 6 as the linear material is adhered to the liquid non-transmissible sheet 2 so as to draw an oscillating pattern. As a result, the rubber yarn 6 can be adhered to the liquid non-transmissible sheet 2 so as to draw the oscillating pattern with the smooth operation.
