METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ABRASIVE GRINDING WHEEL WITH GROOVE ON SURFACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing abrasive grinding wheel capable of easily forming the abrasive grinding wheel with a groove on a surface thereof with a high degree of freedom of a groove shape. SOLUTION: A mask corresponding to a groove forming part on the surface of the abrasive grinding wheel to be manufactured is adhered to a transfer die. Then abrasive grains loaded on the transfer die is held by an electrodeposition metal layer, followed by joining grinding wheel base material to the electrodeposition metal layer. The mask is removed and the groove is exposed to manufacture the abrasive grinding wheel with the groove on the surface thereof.
