摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-invasive continuous blood pressure estimation apparatus with which high estimation accuracy of an estimated blood-pressure value is obtainable. SOLUTION: The estimated blood-pressure value (EBPSYS) is calculated in accordance with an actual time difference (DTRP), a cardiac cycle (RR) and a volume pulse wave area ratio (VR) from the prescribed stored relationship among the estimated blood- pressure value (EBP), pulse wave propagation time (DTRP), the cardiac cycle (RR) and the volume pulse wave area ratio (VR) by a blood-pressure value estimating means 80 and, therefore, the high estimation accuracy is obtd. with respect to the estimated blood-pressure value (EBPSYS). Namely, the cardiac cycle (RR) which is the parameter on the heart side changing in association with the blood-pressure value of the organism and the volume pulse wave area ratio (VR) which is the parameter on the peripheral side changing in association with the blood-pressure value of the living body as compared with the case the blood-pressure value of the organism is further used only based on the time difference (DTRP) and, therefore, the estimation accuracy is made additionally higher than the estimated blood-pressure value (EBPSYS) and there is no need for the frequent execution of the calibration with the blood- pressure value (BP) measured by using a cuff.</p>
