<p>PURPOSE: To reduce an arithmetic quantity for a simulated T-STD model. CONSTITUTION: Figure 3(B) indicates a buffer occupied amount required for transferring a TS packet to a transport stream buffer 21 at a transport rate Rt and a leak rate RX. An increasing time T1 and a decreasing time T2 of the buffer occupied amount are expressed in (Rt-Rx)xT1=RxxT2 and T1=(188x8)/Rt, and a time T is expressed as T=T1+T2=(188x8)/Rx, and then the time T is equal to a time T' shown in Figure 3(C). That is, when a TS packet is transferred at a period of the time T', no overflow takes place in the transport stream buffer 21, which is idle at least once per one second, then it is not required to simulate the transport stream buffer 21 for the simulation of the T-STD model.</p> |
