CORRECTION DEVICE OF ENCODER APPLIED IN LINEAR MOTOR

PURPOSE: A correction device of an encoder applied to a linear motor is provided to correct a thermal deformation of the encoder by measuring circumstances of the encoder in order to compensate for the deformation of a vehicle body due to the circumstances. CONSTITUTION: The device of the encoder corrects the encoder sensing a position and the speed of a mover by being applied in a linear motor. The encoder is installed on one side of the mover and generates a position signal by sensing the position of the mover. An encoder peripheral sensor generates a circumstances signal by measuring the circumstances of the encoder, and an A/D(Analog/Digital) conversion part converts the position signal and the circumstances signal into digital signals. And the device also comprises a controller receiving the position sensing signal and the circumstances sensing signal and correcting the encoder by moving the position of the mover by calculating a thermal deformation of the encoder according to the received circumstances sensing signal.
