PURPOSE: A fixing agent of a hair dye, the hair dye, and a method for dyeing hair are provided to achieve a remarkably low irritation to the skin, and to improve hair dyeability without damaging the hair. CONSTITUTION: The fixing agent of hair dye comprises a complex nucleus capable of forming a complex with an acid dye and the hair dye and the method for dyeing the hair is provided by using the fixing agent. The hair dyeability and durability of the dyed color tone are improved by infiltrating the acid dye into the hair and then making the acid dye complex, have poor solubility and become a pseudo-macromolecule. Besides, the durability of the dyed color tone is further improved by formulating an acid.
