PURPOSE: To solve the disadvantage of conventional sanitary panties having such a structure as to prevent its slippage following the skin by setting the lateral tensile strength in a fastening part larger than the vertical tensile strength, but the sanitary panties, when a sanitary napkin, is mounted on the crotch part thereof, cannot be closely fitted to the body in a protruding shape because the sanitary napkin is pulled by the lateral force of the sanitary panties. CONSTITUTION: The sanitary panties are provided with a stretchable part 16 formed so that the lateral dimension is gradually reduced from a girth part 15 toward the crotch part 13 in a back body 12. In the stretchable part 16, the vertical compression stress is larger than the horizontal compression stress. Since the stretchable part 16 is closely fitted into the groove of buttock, the installed sanitary napkin is protruded in the center and firmly fixed to the body.
