SOLUTION: When a client 2 reads HTML data on a WWW server 7, a print server 3 is allowed to function as a proxy server so that HTML data can be received, and that the received HTML data can be cached in a prescribed cache memory, and transmitted to the client 2. At the time of caching the HTML data, the cached HTML data are read, and prescribed rasterize processing is executed, and even the data after the rasterize processing are stored. The URL of the specific HTML data is designated from the client 2, and at the time of receiving a request for the printing of the HTML data, the print server 3 confirms the presence or absence of the corresponding cached HTML data, and when the pertinent data are present, outputs the data as print data to the printer.
