PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that can prevent gradation jump or the like caused when a gradation conversion characteristic has a saturation region. SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with a storage means that stores either tables used for dither processing, a detection means that detects the gradation characteristic, and a selection means that selects a dither table corresponding to the gradation characteristic detected by the detection means, and conducts the dither processing by using the selected dither table.
