PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image collation processing system with high robustness and stability against the fluctuation of a face image fetch environment such as illumination and the photographing direction of the face image of a person. SOLUTION: A window image (robust window image) hardly affected by environment fluctuation which is selected regardless of the environment fluctuation of an image for which input is assumed in a recognition phase is selected as a model window image. Otherwise, the window image (stable window image) for which the fluctuation of a feature amount is small even when the environment fluctuation is selected as the model window image. For instance, from a registered image group 100 for which the environment is continuously changed, a tracking window image group 110 by the tracking of the window image of a basically registered image A(1) is obtained. Then, an extracted static window image 120 for which continuous images are individually turned to a single image and the window image is extracted is obtained. Then, the window image selected as the window image in common to the tracking window image group 110 and the extracted static window image 120 are turned to the robust window image, and image collation is performed by using it. |
