PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid polymer fuel cell that can possible prevent battery performance from lowering caused by condensed water. SOLUTION: A cell unit is constituted by using plates A, B and C that are formed with flow passage on the front and back faces, and letting a cell D or a water permeable membrane E intervene. The fuel cell is of a solid polymer type formed by laminating to utilize a plurality of the cell units, and humidifies a fuel gas by flowing the fuel gas and cooling water to a humidifying chamber F. Electric power is generated by supplying the humidified fuel gas into a fuel chamber G while an oxidizing gas into an oxidizer chamber H. Flow of the fuel gas in the humidifying chamber F is made in the opposite direction to the flow of the cooling water while that in the fuel chamber G is made in parallel to the flow of the cooling water. |
