PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to obtain a connector for IC card in which the constitution and structure are simple to be suited for both faces type substrate, a strong ground effect for a shielding plate is provided, and a sufficient electromagnetic shielding effect is provided. SOLUTION: In an insulator 110, an upside window 113 at an upper wall of upper stage side contact housing room 111 for the ground, a lower side window 114 at a lower wall of lower stage side contact housing room 112, and a coupling slit 115 to tie these housing rooms are installed. A ground contact 120 that is housed and retained at these upper stage side contact housing room 111, the lower stage side contact housing room 112, and the coupling slit 115 is composed of an upside ground contact part 121, a lower side ground contact part 125, and a coupling part 129 which couples these, and these respective parts include a connecting part, a contact part and a contact piece, and the contact piece abuts on the shielding plate through upper and lower windows. |
