PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce a cogging torque while controlling reduction of effective magnetic flux of a stator on the occasion of providing an auxiliary groove to the teeth to reduce the cogging torque, in a rotary electric machine in which the stator which is wound with an armature coil is provided opposite to a rotor to which a permanent magnet is deposited. SOLUTION: An auxiliary groove 3c is formed to the position biased in only one direction of the circumference from the center of teeth 3b, and the auxiliary grooves 3c of the adjacent teeth 3b are biased in different directions with each other.
