PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making drive unit heretofore unknown. SOLUTION: A rotating body 3 is constituted with mounting a magnet 2, of which the external edge carries a predetermined magnetic polarity, to a rotating shaft 1. A surrounding magnet body 4 consisting of a number of magnets 4a disposed such that a magnetic polarity, which may oppose to the magnetic polarity of the external edge of the rotating body 3 or may be same therewith, shall form the internal rim of the magnet body, is mounted at the periphery of the rotating body 3. And, the external edge of the rotating body 3 and the internal rim of the surrounding magnet body 4 shall generate a magnetism-absorbing force or a resiliency. And further, the external edge of the magnet 2 mounted to the rotating body 3 is covered with an insulating member 5 that insulates magnetism. Thereby, a rotating force shall generate at the rotating body 3 by the magnetic attracting force or repulsive force inclining the direction of the magnetic attracting force or repulsive force between the rotating body 3 and the surrounding magnet body 4 towards the direction of the length of the rotating body 3.
