PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attempt saving power consumption, reducing leakage powers at adjacent channels, making a device small in size, and lowering cost with respect to a transmission power amplifier or the base station, in a moving communication system of broadband CDMA type. SOLUTION: In each of plural RF channels (carriers), a digital modulator 1, a quasi-linear type power amplifier 2 of small amplitude linear type and large amplitude nonlinear type, an isolator 3, and a radio frequency band limiting filter 4 are made in cascade connection, and the powers output from these units in the system are combined to make as the transmission power. The device is constituted to accomplish that quasi-linear type power amplifier 2 makes to attempt power amplification in high efficiency and to save the power consumption, so as to reduce the filter 4 power leakage in neighboring channels. |
