PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of preventing the generation of transient when the changeover of the laser power is required in a preformat part and a data part in such a case with an MSR disk. SOLUTION: Photodiodes 12a, 12b for recording the light reflected on the optical disk are connected respectively to resistors 31a, 31b constituting a current-voltage converter, and also resistors 32a, 32b and switches 33a, 33b are connected to the resistors 31a, 31b in parallel, then by turning both of the switches 33a, 33b to ON/OFF in the synchronization with the changeover of the lead power, the fluctuation of the DC level generated when the laser power is changed over in the preformat part and in the data part is suppressed, then generation of the level fluctuation of the transient in a signal passing through an AC coupling means is prevented. |
