PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable hotel guests to pay by card for the charges due the external shop to the hotel. SOLUTION: A guest of a hotel, which contracts with a common account settlement company for transportation, restaurants and stores and such like, receives from the terminal 11 a contactor non-contact-type card (may be a room key card) which records the name of hotel, room number, personal identification, code of facility to be used, amount and the like. The guest settles account with the facility he uses using the above card at the terminal 12 in the tied-up utilization institution, and makes settlement of utilization charge at checking out the hotel. |
