PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile terminal with user-friendliness that can allow a user to select performance/non-performance of confidential communication in the case of starting ring type multiple address transmission. SOLUTION: The facsimile terminals is provided with a memory circuit 17 that registers information corresponding to a ring type multiple address transmission number, with an operation section 20 that selects starting of ring type multiple address transmission, with the operation section 20 that selects confidential communication, and a CPU 18 that changes a transmitted signal depending on whether or not the confidential communication is selected when the start of the ring type multiple address transmission is selected as its control.
