PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial cable for TDMS having uniform transmission characteristics between signal core cable and drain (return path) core cable, good transmission path characteristics, and no difference in a transmission rate of the drain (return path) core cable compared with that of the signal core cable. SOLUTION: A coaxial cable 11 according to a first embodiment of this invention has a central conductor 13 extending along the direction of the length from the diameter and one end, an internal conductor 15 containing dielectric materials and wrapping up the central conductor 13, a return path 17 arranged around the conductor 15, an external conductor 19 sheathing the return path 17, a shield part 21 covering to shield the external conductor 19, and an external coating sheath 23 covering the shield part 21. The external conductor 19 and the internal conductor 15 have identical dielectric materials.
