摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the skew adjusting mechanism of an optical disk reproducing device, capable of reducing offset after skew adjustment. SOLUTION: This skew adjusting mechanism is provided with a first chassis member 3, a second chassis member 1 placed on the first chassis member 3, and an optical pickup 2 attached movably to the second chassis member 1, and adjust the deviation of optical axis to optical disk 5. In this case, the first chassis member 3 includes a seating part 13 formed in a part, in which the section of at least one direction is set as a part of a circumferential surface, and the radial center of the circumferential surface is set oppositely to the second chassis member 1, and positioned between the innermost and outermost peripheries of the signal recording surface of an optical disk 5. The second chassis member 1 includes a part to be mounted 8 provided in a part opposite the first chassis member 3, with the section of at least one direction set as a part of a circumferential surface. The part to be mounted 8 is provided in the seating part 13 so as to be freely slid.
