PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost of a computer system including a memory management unit in its system, to minimize delay and to reduce programmer's load. SOLUTION: The computer system having physical addresses corresponding to capacity packaged as a memory and virtual addresses corresponding to capacity virtually realized as a memory and capable of accessing an external memory by changing a virtual address to a physical address at the time of executing a program is provided with an address conversion RAM 13 for obtaining the virtual address as an input, setting and storing address information for mapping address space in an optional physical address position and surely outputting unique address information for an optional address input and an external physical memory 12 is referred to by indexing the RAM 13.
