PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data base construction system capable of easily constructing a data base. SOLUTION: The data base construction system for efficiently constructing the data base is provided with a data capacity estimation means for estimating the data capacity of tables and indexes in the data base, a definition file generation means for generating a parameter definition file on the basis of an estimation result estimated by the data capacity estimation means, a table setting means for setting up each table of the data base, a template file generation means for generating a template file of an SQL sentence for preparing a table set up by the table setting means, and a data base construction means for generating and executing the SQL sentence for constructing the data base on the basis of the parameter definition file and the template file.
