PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switched-reluctance motor capable of inhibiting a sound and an oscillation occurring at a switchover of a current pass without lowering an efficiency and an output of the motor. SOLUTION: A salient part 13 extending to a peripheral direction from the head of a stator salient pole 11 is formed at a side face of the peripheral direction of the head of the stator salient pole 11 into which a rotor salient pole 22 is inserted.
