PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video viewing system in which a user does not need a complicated operation that a user redesignates contents that are viewed up to interruption and restarts to view/reproduce the contents when the user interrupts viewing the contents in the middle of viewing the contents and restarts to view the contents, the user does not need time by the time when the user restarts to view/reproduce the contents, and the user can easily perform restart even when the user is unfamiliar with an operation and which is very excellent in operability. SOLUTION: In this video viewing system in which server devices such as a tuner unit and a video server and a plurality of video terminals such as receivers are mutually connected via a network, when the user starts viewing by supplying the power to the video terminals (receivers) sides, user's convenience is improved by automatically reproducing the connection state at the time when the power is previously turned off.
