PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transfer paper whose margin part is clean, that means, soiling of the back part of an original cover and soiling of a contact glass are not erroneously transferred to an area other than an original image area on the transfer paper by preparing reading mode for a card in advance, reading only the area of a card size and writing it on the transfer paper so that soiling of the original cover and the contact glass may not be copied on the transfer paper in the case of copying the original of regular size much smaller than the transfer paper of regular size set in an image forming device such as card. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a small size original mode for copying the original of smaller size than the transfer paper of minimum regular size. In the case of copying the image of the original in the small size original mode, only the image area of the original D set on the contact glass CG is read and the original image is copied on the transfer paper of the regular size, so that a margin area without soiling is formed other than the image area of the transfer paper. |
