PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise price settlement system which is safe and sure for a merchandise purchaser and a merchandise seller in the case of mail- order business. SOLUTION: The information processor of a merchandise price settling center 3 works the money reception information of a merchandise price transferred from a merchandise purchaser 2 to a deposit account 4a owned by the merchandise price settling center of a cooperative financial institute so that the transfer processing to a merchandise seller 1 can be frozen in a fixed period, and transmits the money reception information of the merchandise price to the merchandise seller, and stores it in the deposit account information file of the information processor. After the lapse of the freezing period of the deposit account, when any claim information is not generated, or when claim solving information is inputted, the information processor of the merchandise price settling center prepares merchandise price settlement transfer information, and notifies the merchandise price settlement transfer information to the cooperative financial institute. Then, the merchandise price transferred to the deposit account of the merchandise price settling center is transferred to the normal account of the merchandise seller. |
