<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that a user can lock at only map information unilaterally provided from a provider through the internet, the user can not simply update information in the case of providing information from the user because much labor is required for operation such as the connection of a link, a third person can not be informed of updated information through an electronic(E) mail or the like, and the existence of update in each point is not clear. SOLUTION: The geographic information system consisting of map information, a server for setting up an icon on a map and performing the registration of the icon and the updating/deletion of information and a mail server for setting up an E mail address corresponding to the icon from the request of the server can transmit the updating or the like of information to the E mail address set up in each icon and allows the third person to read the contents of each icon through an E mail. Thereby the updating or the like of information can be performed by simple transmission/reception through an E mail, accurate and much information can be transmitted/received in real time and accurate and quick instruction/correspondence can be performed.</p> |
