<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten an editing time by actualizing efficient raw material retrieval through easy operation without separately installing a dedicated device. SOLUTION: In jog mode, a raw material is reproduced at a playback speed corresponding to the rotating speed of a pointing device 4. The playback direction is controlled corresponding to the rotating direction of the pointing device 4. In shuttle mode, the raw material is reproduced at a playback speed corresponding to the right or left movement direction of the pointing device 4. Further, the playback direction is controlled corresponding to the moving direction of the pointing device 4. In both the modes, a job playback speed bar is displayed on the screen of a monitor 2 so that illumination parts increase with the playback speed.</p> |
