SOLUTION: A cable connection detecting circuit 32 detects whether or not a cable 41 is connected to a cable connector 31. A power source control circuit 13 interrupts power supply to a modulating circuit 21, an amplifier circuit 22, and a transmitting and receiving circuit 23 at the time of receiving a signal indicating that the cable is connected from the cable connection detecting circuit 32. At that time, a power is supplied to a protocol converting circuit 33. On the contrary, the power source control circuit 13 interrupts power supply to the protocol converting circuit 33 at the time of receiving a signal indicating that the cable is not connected. At that time, a power is supplied to the modulating circuit 21, the amplifier circuit 22, and the transmitting and receiving circuit 23.</p> |
