PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera that can obtain an image which is free from a distortion due to lens without correcting distortions which is caused by composing multiple images. SOLUTION: When the setting is at a panoramically photographing mode, the step is advanced to S2 where an angle of the area to be photographed is read from a photograph mode setting unit, then advanced to S3 for capturing data for a subject of one vertical line, and a prescribed processing is performed at A/D converter and digital signal processing unit for storing in memory. At S4, a pan head is moved rotationally at a micro-angle, and at S5, there is determined whether the amount of rotational movement has reached the angle obtained at S2. If the amount of rotational movement has not reached the set angle, the step is returned to S3 for capturing adjacent images of subject. If it has reached the set value at S5, the processing terminates. When this series of processing terminates, image data for one sheet of panoramic photograph is stored. |
