PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communications equipment which can manage slave stations constituted of parts, having similar functions as same parts and whose cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: Drivers IC 11 to 14, constituting the slave stations, are connected to an engine control unit 10 being a master station in series. The engine control unit 10 transmits only a data signal 407 to the driver IC 11 and sequentially transmits slave station designation signals, having M-1 pieces of pulse signals and data signals to M-th (M=2 to 4) drivers IC 12 to 14. The pulse of the slave station designation signal 403, transmitted from the engine control unit 10, is removed one pulse by one by drivers IC 11 and 12 unless it reaches a corresponding driver IC 13. The driver IC 13 receives a data signal 408, without receiving the pulse signal. Thus, the driver IC 13 fetches the data signal 408.
